It is required by Massachusetts state law that the program include:

• Thirty hours of classroom instruction ($149)
• Teens 12-hour behind-the wheel instruction ($840) and 6-hour observation (free of charge)
• Two-hour Parent Class, which requires that one parent, legal guardian, or designee has to attend. It is free of charge if the student is taking the full driver education program with Way to Go Driving School. Others have to pay $40 in order to obtain a certificate of completion. The parent class is valid for 5 years.

The students will have to complete 8 blocks, each block consisting of 1.5 hours of driving and half an hour of observation in order to complete the 12 hours of car driving instruction and 6 hours of observation. The cost of each block is $105, and can be paid by cash, check, or money order.

The student must call the office at 774-362-4515 to schedule their first appointment. As long as the student has obtained their Learner’s permit and is ready to start the program, the rest of the appointments can be booked with the instructor in the car.

NOTE: Massachusetts state law requires that a parent, guardian, or designee must complete a 2-hour parent class before the student can start his/her driving hours, unless the parent, guardian, or designee has already completed one within the last 5 years, or took the class at a different school.
